A Journey Through Faith

Welcome to A Journey Through Faith! I pray that you will find this blog very inspirational and motivational. The purpose of this blog is to share my own personal and real life experiences with God to others with the use of Biblically based solutions. It is my desire to share with you my own personal experiences involving a difficult marriage, domestic violence and domestic abuse (emotional, physical, spiritual, financial, mental and verbal), abandonment, parenthood, adult child and parent issues, rejection, and other ordinary life experiences that we all run into in one way or another here on earth. My goal is to minister to those in need from all walks of life. I want to help others become restored and made whole again by renewing their faith in God. The tools that I use to minister to others is through songs of praise in words of psalms, poems, columns, personal testimonies, devotions, prayers and scriptures. I am hoping that by sharing my life as an open book, in some way it will inspire everyone to reach for a higher, deeper and more intimate relationship with our Almighty God and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I want all of you to walk by faith and not by sight! (2 Corinthians 5:7) I want every believer to wear the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) without fear and walk boldly in the knowledge of who they are in Christ! We are children of the most High God and because we are His children, He wants a relationship with us. Contrary to what other faiths and religions preach, He is not harsh, contradicting, or passive. Society (television, talk shows, celebrities, etc.) have painted a very poor picture of who Jehovah really is. They are not giving a true account of His character. About Minister Faith From my own personal struggles with life, I discovered the power of living victoriously through Christ by applying God’s Word to my life and desires to help others through my writing. I believe in writing ope

Answering God in the Midnight Hour

My Church history professor shared a testimony from a fellow pastor friend of his who received a mission from God during the midnight hour several years ago.

One night as his pastor friend was asleep, God spoke to him and gave instruction to go to his neighbor's home, pray for their baby and He would heal the child. The pastor friend fussed for a little and got up, went next door and returned home because he did not receive a response. He got dressed into his pajamas again and went back to bed and slept.

God woke the pastor friend up again instructing him to go next door, pray for the baby and He would heal the child. The pastor friend arose once again, got dressed and went next door. This time he knocked on the door for a little while longer and left after he did not receive a response. He dressed in his pajamas and went directly to bed.

God woke the pastor friend up once again and instructed him to go next door, knock until they answered, and pray for their baby so He could heal the child. The pastor friend arose once more, got dressed and returned to the neighbor's home knocking until they answered.

The husband questioned the man before him and the pastor friend explained that he was a pastor at a local church. He also explained that God had instructed him to come over and pray for their baby because the He wanted to heal their child. The mother ran and got the child and the pastor friend did as the Lord instructed. The parents and the pastor friend immediately saw that the baby was healed! Overcome with joy the parents asked that the pastor friend lay hands on them as well so God could heal them too.

A short while later during church service the parents and their baby surpised the pastor friend by going to his church and explaining to the congregation the incidents of the previous night and the testimony that followed to the congregation. The parents then showed their baby to the congregation and explained how the pastor friend also healed them. They were overjoyed!

Miracles do happen when we are obedient to God's instructions!
