On September 14, 2013, Mr. Kerry Bowers announced that he would run for the nomination as a Republican candidate for the Office of President of the United States for the election year 2016.  "My intentions are twofold. The first is to present the American people with my proposed course; one that includes the objectives, strategies and goals that will begin restoring our eroded blessings and creating the greatest potential for unlimited prosperity, both for the individual and our nation. The second is to establish a campaign standard; one imposed by the people requiring every candidate to present their proposed course for this nation and inclusive of their objectives, strategies and goals.  It is my hope that the American people will no longer be accommodating to generalities and political rhetoric, demanding instead the specifics of where we are, where we are going and how we are going to get there."
