This week's Fair Tax Time will devote 90 minutes to a debate between Kerry Bowers of Nevada (Fair Tax) and Steve Eldridge of Tennessee (a Very Flat Income Tax).

This will be the first show in this format. The objective is to present views as to why the country should either enact the Fair Tax or migrate to a very Flat Income Tax.

Stephen C. Eldridge, J.D., LLM (in Taxation), BBA (in Accounting), CPA (retired), was a Tax partner in a major international accounting firm, international lecturer and co-author of a 3-volume tax treatise. He believes in making drastic changes to the current tax system in order to minimize its complexity, compliance costs, and its  imposition into our personal lives and business.

Mr. Bowers is a 30-year veteran of the United States Air Force and a former business owner providing technical training to the U.S. Government and defense corporations in radar, infra-red and electronic countermeasures.  He is a former District Director for the Florida FairTax Educational Association and the former State Director for Nevada FairTax.

The debate is this Wednesday at 9 PM ET, 6PM PT
You may get involved by: 1) submitting an advance question to jwnobles1@verizon.net; 2) Asking a question live on the air or in the chat room; just listening to the show on the internet at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/fairtax4ca/2013/07/25/exciting-show--90-minute-debate or calling in at (619) 393-6478 during the show (if you're charged for long distance, please use our toll-free number: (888) 436-1206).
