Senator Ted Lieu, author of California's breakthrough legislation banning so-called gay conversion therapy for children joins us to explain why he wrote the bill and the lawsuites filed against him when Governor Brown signed it.

Sen. Lieu, says the so-called “conversion therapy,” “sexual orientation therapy,” “reparative therapy,” or “sexual orientation change efforts” —  amounts to  ”psychological child abuse.”

He introduced the bill because, as he said, “No one should stand idly by while children are being psychologically abused, and anyone who forces a child to try to change their sexual orientation must understand this is unacceptable”.

In Segment 2, "Where will the jobs come from?", with Tom Pauken, Chairman of the Texas Workforce Commission.  A regular contributor to Fairness Radio, Tom is the past Chairman of the Texas Republican Party and served in the White House as an adviser to President Reagan.  He will detail the strategy Texas has used to create more jobs than any other state in the nation, and how the nation can do the same.
