Miranda was born and raised in Oakland, Ca. on October 3rd 1980. She began singing at the early age of four, leading songs at Morning star Missionary Baptist church under the leadership of Pastor Ray Williams. Miranda soon became the youth choir director and later joined the adult choir and led the legendary song “Near the Cross” recorded by: Mississippi mass choir. She traveled with her pastor being his sermonic soloist locally.
Later at the tender age of 19, Miranda joined the Second Bethel B.C under the leadership of Pastor Anthony Gilmore where she served and was trained to direct the adult choir by first lady Gilmore. After a time well served, Miranda was blessed to be a part of the Lilly of the Valley’s Christian center first live recording album entitled “In the House.”
After that dynamic experience, Miranda began to allow God to explore the parts of her that she had not yet discovered within herself where God revealed to her that not only she can sing, but write as well.
She wrote her first song entitled “Never Forget”. The song that is most frequently requested when she ministers.
Miranda then went on serving at B.A.S.I.C ministries as a Sunday School Teacher under the tutelage of Pastor Mustafa Muhyee.
Miranda Also served as the youth Pastor at Life Changing Ministries under the senior Pastor Dr.Paula Clark. With her divine teaching and instructing Miranda was able to propel her ministry into the heavenly. She is now in high demand not only in her ministering as an anointed psalmist, but also a teacher rightly dividing the word of truth.
