Exclusive Interview with United States Army National Guard Darice Bey

Hello, as you all may know I am King Darice Bey and I am going to take the liberty of sharing a few things with you all that you probably didn't know about me. I am a father of a 12 year old girl, I materialize from a family of 6 males and 1 female. Built with a resolute mindset and a fierce and unwavering spirit, I started working at 14, but obtained my first authorized job at Dunkin Donuts 16-18. Conceiving my daughter when I was in HighSchool at the age of 18 accelerated my drive and motivated me on another level. I went to School for Criminal Justice, couldn't find a job, so I said F it and decided to take my talents into the Army. I was in the United States Army National Guard for 8 years; I went to Baghdad in 2010 then came home and went back to School for Human Services because my passion and fulfillment came from helping people. Graduated from Gateway 2014 with a degree in Human Services. Still dedicated to the restoration and improvement of the community I took opportunities to work at many companies in Connecticut; Marrakech, Continuum of Care, Crossroads, Chase Center, Family Options and Abilities Without Boundaries; mostly places where I got a chance to mentor and contribute to the betterment of individual’s lives. I am human so of course I have had downfalls. I have gotten fired from jobs, I've quit jobs! I have had 2 jobs and 2 cars lost it all within months. I know what it's like to be at the bottom I know what it's like to need a favor and can't call on anyone. I know what it's like to be BROKE financially but I've always been the type to get out here and make something happen! I'm Currently a Driver for Budweiser, I'm a Credit Repair Consultant and soon to be Real Estate Agent! Being apart of this Company called Financial Education Services has allowed me to not only change my life but it has allowed me to help others change theirs.
