Michael Vernon Cooper born and raised in Vallejo California has the distinction of being the founder of the world  re-noun funk gold recording artist "CONFUNKSHUN", and remains vital in contemporary music today. When ConFunkShun briefly closed shop between '86 to '93, Cooper shined on a string of solo hits including "Shoop Shoop", " Prove My Love", and "Dinner For Two" on his Warner Bros. LP's,and again in 2003 on his NCA Lable " THIS HEART OF MINE" ,and ”ARE WE COOL”.He periodically tours as a solo act, promoting his Cds while continuing to head up and perform with Confunkshun. “My sound has stayed essential because the guys and I still actively tour.
