LISTEN FOR THE MESSAGE! Atonia has over 16 years in the television, media, fashion and modeling industry. She started in fashion design attending Fashion Institute of Technology in NY and went on to design costumes for dance companies and notable entertainment artists. Her modeling career included numerous commercial print ads for Johnson Hair Care products, Glamour, Essence and Vogue magazines, national bus and subway poster campaigns for Barcardi, Salem and Benson and Hedges cigarettes. She has appeared in commercials for Listerine, Yoplait Yogurt, Nescafe and NY Lottery as well as prominent television spots in Europe. Her television credits include guest TV Host for “E” Entertainment, Fashion and Jewelry Host on the Home Shopping Network, Auction Host on “Bid NY” and Full Frontal Fashion (Metro TV) and “Live with Atonia” on Manhattan Cable Network. She also freelances as a makeup artist for several fashion photographers in NYC. Atonia made her directorial debut in 2005 with Girl Power. After securing critical and popular reviews, she returned to direct Voices of Africa and The Monologues of Teen Life. Atonia will be collaborating with her sister, Tony Nominated Valarie Pettiford who also appears on the hit TV show “Half and Half on future theatrical productions. Studio 11 on 11 owned by Linda Strobert and John Knox which is primarily photography where both of us have over 25 years of experience. Our Model management division Model Service which has Atonia Pettiford as the main speaker and trainer for our informative workshops on How to Get Started the Right Way as a Model or Actor. Linda Strobert who is a photographer and model manager who sends her talent on films, commercials and major hair ads. Atonia and Linda are able to give our new talent advice because we unlike most studio's have first hand experience in the business. In the first Sex in City film, Linda Strobert plays the role of Jennifer Hudson's mother.
