Mandee According to Free Dictionary dot com, memoir is defined as: 1. An account of the personal experiences of an author. 2. An autobiography. Often used in the plural. 3. A biography or biographical sketch. 4. A report, especially on a scientific or scholarly topic. 5. memoirs The report of the proceedings of a learned society. The members of Extreme Writing Now have been receiving memoir prompts on a weekly basis since July 2010, when Kim Ort started to give us prompts, and continues into 2011 under the astute guidance of Mandee Sears.
