Dr. L. Imani Price is the founder of Pink Pearls of Hope Breast Cancer Organization. She is a clinical psychologist with a doctoral degree from Purdue University. Her research interests combined psychological principals to African American Women's Health Issues. Her doctoral dissertation examined spirituality and psychological well being in women with breast cancer, with a focus on the psychosocial impact of breast cancer on African American women.

"Good Breast Health involves more than just early detection methods, it also involves using preventive actions by maintaining a healthy weight, being physically active, and being mindful of what you eat and drink. Drinking eight 8 ozs. of water each day has been associated with healthy habits, while having more than one drink of alcohol per day has been associated with an increase in breast cancer risk. The goal of Pink Pearls of Hope is teach people how to reduce their risk of breast cancer by being mindful of their entire lifestyle. We teach 360 degrees of healthy living for breast cancer prevention." Dr. L. Imani Price
