Sa Tonya Ford was raised  Crossett, Arkansas.

At the age of 23, moved to Little Rock, Arkansas in 1997 and began working in the field of law starting as a Legal Secretary of a small law firm. She worked her way form a Loan Originator to Loan Officer 2001.Then she decided to open her very own office in 2008, the industry had a down side like no one would know. In her early 30's, at this time; she decided to close the mortgage firm in February, 2009 to go into seclusion to write.

Due to situations happening in the church, she decided to write "A Player In The Pulpit." 

 SaTonya began filming the movie "Pregnant by the Pastor."
