About the Artist
Dove Hagan is an independent singer/songwriter that began her venture into the world of music at a young age. Dove’s professional music “life” gained its voice in 2004, but was paused due to unforeseen circumstances. In 2010, persistence yielded her debut work, “In the Key of G..” on her independent label, Indigo Child Records. “In the Key of G..” is an autobiographical and biographical account of love and living. The album speaks to how she views the world and the range of emotions that the world offers the human experience through music.
Dove is back in the studio working on new music. The upcoming album titled, “Elements of One Love,” is expected to release in early Spring 2012. This new venture will address social issues, causes and calls to action addressed with vigor and determination. Dove’s community work is closely aligned with her music endeavors and the release of the first single, “Invisible”, is an anthem for the lost and lonely, which declares at the songs resolution, “I am visible…I’m here.”
Dove has combined her passion for music and love for children by establishing a non-profit organization, Melody & Harmony Music Foundation. “The Foundation is an extension of my core beliefs of helping the community and paying it forward,” says Dove. Melody & Harmony Music Foundation’s purpose and mission is to provide all children; regardless of ability, race, creed, religion or socioeconomic background; the opportunity to excel in social and cultural development through the use of music.
