Urban Arts Partnership is a not-for-profit that advances the intellectual, social and artistic development of underserved public school students through arts-integrated education programs to close the achievement gap. Learn more @ urbanarts.org

Philip Courtney became CEO in 2003 and in 2008 Working Playgrounds was renamed Urban Arts Partnership.  The organization pairs teaching arts with classroom teachers of math, science and the humanities. "Learning Math through music".

Urban Arts Partnership is the featured story in the Fall 2015 issue of Diversity In Action Magazine. The magazine president Jordan Weiss will also join the conversation.
