A Touch Of Moorish Essence-Collection of Poetry

This is a poem from my newest collection of Moorish poetry called, "A Touch Of Moorish Essence" which will be published in the spring of 2010. The poem is called, "We Forgot." When Moorish American Moslems drift off the path of righteousness, it's because they have taken their eyes off of God-Allah, Islam and all that the Prophet Drew Ali brought and taught. This poem is like a reminder of where our hearts should be.
