Alan Levy is co-founder and CEO of BlogTalkRadio. He is also the host of the Alan Levy Show. Alan is also the founder of Myphonecompany.com (a VOIP Telecom company).
Prior to this, Alan was President and COO of Destia Communications from 1996 to 1999 and helped to build Destia into a global telecom enterprise with operations and customers in 10 countries and more than $350 million in annual revenue. Destia's May 1999 IPO was shortly followed in December 1999 by the sale of the company to Viatel in a transaction valued in excess of $1 billion. Prior to joining Destia, Alan, a CPA, held the CFO, Managing Director of Europe and EVP Legal and Finance positions at Viatel, a pan-European fiber-based telecom carrier.
Bob Charish is co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at BlogTalkRadio. Prior to co-founding BlogTalkRadio, Bob was the COO of Xchange Telecom (a NY based CLEC) and MyPhoneCompany (a VOIP Telecom company). Prior to that Bob was Vice President of Pre Paid services of Destia Communications. At Destia, Bob was responsible for managing the Pre Paid card division, which he grew from $300K of annual revenue to over $110 million of annual revenue.
Rob Blackin is Vice President of Operations and Development at BlogTalkRadio. Rob is responsible for the development of the BlogTalkRadio web site and backend operations.
Before joining BlogTalkRadio he was Director of Development at IDT in charge of systems supporting global businesses in 9 different countries. Before IDT he was CIO of the VoiceNet subsidiary of Destia. Prior to VoiceNet he was a sales engineer at Red Brick Systems and held various positions at AT&T.
John C. Havens is Vice President of Business Development at BlogTalkRadio and currently spearheading BTR's white label and business solutions service while also working to form strong distribution partnerships to grow the overall network.
John is also lead organizer of PodCamp NYC, a social media "unconference" that attracted 850 participants and one hundred speakers in April 2007. He is a founding member of the Association for Downloadable Media and was the inaugural Guide to Podcasting at About.com. John is currently working on a book with new media luminary Shel Holtz called, "Tactical Transparency" (working title) that explores the nature of corporate communication in the modern era of open dialogue in business. A former professional actor, John appeared in principal roles on and off Broadway, TV, and film for over fifteen years.
