November's series focuses on GRIEF as we discuss the loss of a spouse or parent and even the loss of a child, or, as is my case, the loss of multiple children.
This tough topic is a harsh reality for all of us. There is a 100% chance of death for us all and sadlly, many will and have endured the loss of a child and/or multiple children. Whether it is due to a miscarriage, illness, accident, or problems that evolve during the process of becoming pregnant as a fertility couple, it happens.
Why is it that so many men and women keep their feelings and their stories to themselves? That this topic is not talked about yet happens so frequently?
As we kick-off this series for November, I will start by sharing with you a transparent discussion of my own losses...to include that of my older brother, Curt.
This is not a talk you hear at the dinner table amongst familly and friends...but doing so can truly enable a new depth of healing. Your family's compassion and caring are irreplaceable. We need the constant reminder that we are loved, we are His, and we have the promise of reuniting with our loved ones in heaven.
