Brittany Bentz, born and raised in Lancaster, California didn't set out to be an advocate for adoption or sexual assault victims but life had other plans.  From grade school, her world revolved around martial arts which took her to Japan to train, test and compete.  She loved school and planned to go to college.  Then her life changed.  She was just 15 years old and found out she was pregnant.  She gave her son up in an open adoption where she maintains frequent contact with the family.  Just 5 months after giving birth she was raped by a trusted friend - an Air Force Security Forces member.  After months of trying to forget what happened, she decided to report the rape.  Her case would wind up being used to change military law.  Now, a college student and with the court martial behind her, Brittany is studying to become a therapist.  She has already become an outspoken advocate for sexual assault victims as well as a proponent of adoption.
