She is a "community champion,” Educator, Life Coach, Parent Professional and Author (Our Black Fathers: Brave, Bold and Beautiful). She has been the Executive Owner of the TEAL Group (Train. Empower. Advocate. Link) a professional coaching and mentoring service to engage families, schools and communities, in improving the academic performance of our children, since 1994.
Ms. Herron has a BA degree in Ethnic Studies and Inter-personal Communication, and holds a Masters in Educational Administration. Ms. Herron is a Certified Mediator, Family Life Coach,Trainer and Motivational Speaker. She has personally witnessed the frustration and devastation many parents, care providers and families experience in managing themselves and their families. She is committed to promote values, healthy lifestyle practices, academic readiness, excellence and life-long learning. Her personal motto is
