By order of the Attorney General's Office, as of July 1st, 2009, all residential contractors who make $5,000 or more a year in the home improvement industry must be registered with the state, and insured for $50,000 liability and $50,000 property damage coverage. Failure to do so will result in a $1,000 fine. We will be discussing ways to expedite this process and bring the average "Joe plumber " into compliance with this new law. Join Angela Ashford, of Empire Business Consulting inc.,Willie Garrett,Senior Sales Manager, Tommy D's Home Improvement Ctrs., a panel of contractors, insurance brokers and myself, Everett Carvalho (everettleigh), of Philadelphia Web Centers, for a frank and insightful look at the new way of doing business in Pennsylvania. Angela and I will also announce the launching of our latest online collaborative, PENNSYLVANIA CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION SERVICES, http://pacontractorregistration.com . We plan to provide a one stop shop for Registration, Insurance, Business Cards, Websites, and much more. It promises to be a packed 1/2 hour. The chat room will be open....everettleigh
