Ethical American  

The Ethical American is a show for people who like to think and debate important issues. Show topics will, for the most part, be about politics but some topics may also include some more philosophical issues and questions. There are plenty of other political talk shows here on BTR and on the radio waves but The Ethical American show will be unique. As your host, I reject political labels (liberal, conservative, Democrat and Republican etc.) because I believe that such labels make it more difficult to be fair, accurate and open-minded. I believe that the right answers to issues are not found by a applying a one-size-fits-all political ideology but rather by examining each issue and event individually. The topics that will be discussed are interesting, important and engaging and will often be topics that are ignored by the media and many Americans. Any listeners are heavily encouraged to call in if they have an opinion, comment, question, or knowledge about the current topic. Callers will not be discriminated against based on their opinions and are expected in return to respect other callers. Personal insults are not permitted but debating issues is highly encouraged. Debate encourages thinking, and by listening to what your opponent says with an open mind, you are doing yourself a favor. Some shows will feature special guests who specialize in whatever topic is being discussed. The show will be discussing serious and important issues, events, and people but the show will be very lighthearted and, at times, funny. There may be some regularly occurring features on the show that offer some comedic relief as well. Feedback about the show is greatly appreciated.
