Political Gravity with Jane Hoffman - East vs. West

Does the Middle East need Western validation, infiltration, and confrontation?  Can the Middle East exist within its own turbin style caliphate and live without the presence of the infidel?  Some ask if the Middle East needs a comfort zone, an oil industry, a Western ally or influence of any sort.  

The countries that scorn the West are forced to lie in bed with them, which ends up making everyone look a bit hypocritical.  As a Western Political Scientist, Jane yearns for a description (or text) that doesnt define the Islam induced nations as extreme Jihadist thrusts ready to pursue a divine goal of war & destruction.  One wonders if the true divorce between the East and West ever be sealed, or if will hell will break wide open with the final Biblical confrontation of the Jesus-led Christians, the self-proclaimed Jews, & the Islmo-facists.  It's a lot to consider, more now than ever.
