The Political and Spiritual Martyr: Can The Revolution Begin At Home?

The Sixties were a ripe period where the youth whole-heartedly rejected the mainstream status quo, capitalistic structure, and life goals in general. Today there are those who mock anyone with an activist mindset, yet their target isn't activists, but rather the poor, and disenfranchised, all while being blame-oriented, targeting the Haves against the Have-Nots. If the Have-Nots rise up to claim their own outside the public thought, who will be to blame then? Who will be to blame when there are no government funds to bailout the rich, and no memory to recall what we have done? Who will be to blame when money means nothing and only our deeds in relation to one another matter? Who will be your judge and what is motivating you to act? Are you free?

On this show, Jane talked to one of the Milwaukee 14, and a good friend, Bob Graf. He talks about war, and why there aren't a lot of people willing to act as there were just 30 years ago, or more. Also on the show is the Rev. Milo Ken Anderson from California who is also an activist and very inhabits inclusiveness in his preaching. So what does it take to be a public martyr, or at least someone who stands up to the system and creates change in the world? It seems folks are more worried about their 15 minutes, than 15 years down the line. Jane talks to Bob, and the Reverend, about all this, and more.
