My education has been in English medium in schools in India and in Swaziland(Southern Africa). I graduated from Bombay University in commerce and did my specialisation in international trade. Having led an uneventful life following the normal 9am to 6apm Monday to Saturday work routine for last 25 years of unrewarding career,I found that some inner fire was being snuffed out. I recollect my days waking up and penning my thoughts rather in an undefined poetical form , following my own style. Infact it has been now past 5 months that I started wring poetry and conserving and saving them up ( don’t know how many of my peened poetry is now lost in those pieces of papers) and have posted anything between 50 to 60 poems,. All these are flow from my heart and written in extempore and yet unpublished hoping one day a suitable anthology of same is made for publishing and for all people to read all over. Still there. Have been writing poetry on and off for the past forty or so years. A few years back, I joined the poets website, and from there met a great number of really good people. We exchanged a lot of great ideas and read a lot of great poetry. In the course of belonging to that site, I joined a group called the Inner Circle of Poets. The purpose of the group was to publish books of poetry for different causes. I believe it was quite successful and three of my works are published in the first book from the Inner Circle entitled the Beauty Within. Proceeds from this book went to Breast Cancer research. Since that site disbanded I have joined a couple others, but have felt that my life has been to happy of late to write. In other words I am a poet who really only writes when going through bad times. That’s not to say that all my poetry is doom and gloom, it’s not. I write of many different things, but human emotion is probably what I am drawn to most. I’m currently working with mentally challenged adults, and they give me so much joy, It’s hard to even express the lessons I learn from them everyday. I am also in the process of trying my hand at being an entrepreneur with a store called Sparkledragon’s Magical emporium.
