In this episode of eRadio Business Broadcast, we look at the recent arrest of a British national in Barbados who is accused of an Internet fraud scheme that swindled investors of more that $1.5 million.

Apparently, the Financial Services Commission and the Central Bank of Barbados’ exchange control section are assisting the police in the investigations.

The host Charles Lewis engages Andrew Harris, Michael Allamby and other experts/professionals in the local business and investment sector in an open discussion on the related issues.

We will be addressing a number of issues and concerns which were raised by our listeners, particularly in the Caribbean.

These concerns raise a number of questions “Do our authorities made it too easy for foreign businessmen to set up shop in the Caribbean? Are we in the Caribbean too gullible in the face of foreigners with fancy accents and apparent deep pockets? Is due diligence done by the authorities and is it sufficient?
