Oh How He Loves You and Me. It is important to know that God truly loves you. It is the revelation of God love for you that helps trust Him knowing that He loves you and has your best interest at heart. The Bible tells us that we love Him because He first loved us. The greater our revelation of God's love for us the greater we love Him in return and therefore can love ourselves and love others as we love ourselves. Love is one of the stones that we can hurl at the giant of homosexuality and experience victory even as David experienced victory when he hurled the stone into Goliath's head. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, First John 4:18. As we receive revelation knowledge of God's love for us, it drives out fear enabling us to stand in faith and confront the giant of homosexuality. As we realize God's love for us, we love Him in return and love ourselves and others. We love because He first loved us, First John 4:19.
