Problems with Republicans in Texas and Washington

Even though I am strongly "Conservative", I tend to vote republican, because normally Libertarians don't have a shot, I believe Republicans should clean out our own problems at home and in Washington before the midterm elections and before we, we being politicians and political talk show hosts like myself, even discuss problems the Democrats present. I believe that is the way Republicans can get back to their base and begin to turn around the fiscal irresponsibility that is in both parties.
