GeoMoonstar: FISA and "The Patriot Act" are anything but "Patriotic". They go against the very principles on which this country is founded - meaning the fundamental right to privacy. As you know, the issue of abortion is a very personal and emotional issue that the Republicans use time and again to distract voters from the economic issues that really impact their lives. If the Republican party REALLY wanted to do anything about Roe v. Wade, they had years to accomplish their goal when they had control of the Presidency, House, Senate and courts. Heather thank you for speaking out and taking on the the corrupt political system in Kentucky. I want to ask you about Republican's like Mitch McConnell and Jim Bunning who voted to support the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act last week. Would you as a Congresswoman work to stop FISA and the Patriot Act? I do not think the government should have the right to listen to my phone calls, monitor the internet and check my library card.
