Some artists get underneath our skin to be forever embedded into our souls..She is one of those special few...

N'Tirzah is a classically trained pianist and vocalist,composer, lyricist, poetess, dancer, choreographer, teacher and healer. She has been influenced musically by artists as diverse as Roberta Flack, Earth, Wind and Fire, Rachelle Ferrell, Jill Scott and Patrice Rushen.

 

Over the last few years,N'Tirzah has performed in various venues along the East Coast,  utilizing all of her gifts in song, poetry, choreography, dance and production development. No stranger to the stage, she has performed as a spoken word artist/dancer, assisted in choreography and staging for the production of Ntozake Shange's "For Colored Girls" presented at the New York Theological Seminary and performed at Pure Onyx Movement as a guest soloist at The Kumble Theatre in Brooklyn, New York. She is an in demand artist, performing at restaurant/bars, cafes and schools.

 

N'Tirzah believes in giving back, and volunteered as a teaching artist for a year at The Door,  a non-profit organization geared towards at risk youth, contributing as a guest choreographer for their summer intensive in the August of 2012.

 

N'Tirzah is currently working on final mastering of her first official EP, entitled For Real, tentatively scheduled for a February 2014 release.  Her video for the first single from the EP, "Is It Possible" is currently on rotation on YouTube and Reverbnation. The single, by the same name, will be available on iTunes in December 2013.
