The multifaceted Tasha Larae of Arrested Development joins Carla B's, E! Buzz Show on Monday, January 24, 2011. This International singing soul diva is no stranger to the stage. Since age 5, Tasha LaRae has been entertaining audiences from across the country and around the world. She has shared the stage with a wide range of artist from great jazz greats, gospel pioneers, and some of hip hop's heavy hitters. In 2008, Ms. LaRae began traveling internationally as the new female lead vocalist for 2x Grammy Award Winning group, Arrested Development (“Tennessee”, “Mr. Wendel”, “People Everyday”). Shortly after, she joined her songwriting skills with group members Eshe, One Love, Ras, Za, JJ Boogie, and front man, Speech, to complete Arrested Development’s latest album entitled ‘Strong’ released December 2009 on Avex in Japan. While touring with the group, she wrote and recorded music for her EP entitled “The Tasha LaRae EP” soon to be released independently. With musical influences such as Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Whitney Houston, Earth Wind and Fire, Stevie Wonder, Jill Scott, and Tina Turner – her blend of Rock, Soul, R&B, and Jazz will have you sitting on the edge of your seat.
