Today in the live episode, Trevahr and special guest Katrina Messenger discuss the moving and shifting consciousness that occurs in mothers and children through the natural birth experience (as opposed to the hospital birth experience).

Bio for Katrina:

Katrina Messenger grew up in Oregon and is a graduate of the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts where she studied massage and hatha yoga. She is receiving her Birth Doula training and certification through DONA International.

She is a multi-faceted therapist with a spiritual drive to serve. As a massagae therapist yoga instructor, birth doula and trained dancer she has extensive understanding of anatomy and kinesiology. She excels at combining practical applications with a deep appreciation for the human body temple. It is with this reverence that she supports clients through life transformations ranging from emotional release to natural child birth.

Katrina was led into yoga ten years ago through her love of dance and performance art. As a modern dance performer and choreographer she has found great joy in leading other to express and heal themselves through movement. While studying massage therapy and and energy healing she has awakened an intuitive spirit that has inspired her to a deeper practice of yoga and a passion to teach.
