Neither the Poet nor the poetry can be boxed in. Spoken Word Poets are not bound by the lines on a page. Spoken Word Poets get their inspiration from a place deep within themselves and they speak with their inner voice. Simply put - there are no rules when it comes to the Spoken Word Poet. Spoken Word Poets be attuned with your inner voice while performing. By doing this it binds you to your poem and will come across to your audience as one entity. Originality and substance is more memorable. Having this embedded into each line of poetry is transformative to both you and your audience. The transformation is what sways your audience and holds their interests. Writing is the basic tool used to formulate the foundation of the message but it is the Poet that breathes life into the message thereby making it a complete structure.
