Engineers enter the work world with excellent technical skills, but have little preparation for the realities of dealing with people and process in the real world. Key to being more effective and happier professionals is learning and then applying essential nontechnical skills, including speaking, writing and listening, decision-making, and setting priorities and managing time. During this show, Carl Selinger will discuss ways engineers can learn the soft skills that they will need to be successful in their careers.
