The snow storm that hit NYC in Dec 2010 was one of the most challenging events to face the NYC EMS providers there. Delays in patient access from lack of plowing, decreases in both EMS and NY Sanitation manpower made for both busy and stressful times. This coupled with political fall out on the response issues from the public has left the city residents wondering if they are prepared for what may lie ahead during future emergency operations. This episode hopes to give an EMS perspective during this emergency with feedback from the EMS field providers. Come listen in, chat or call in with your take on this topic.
