Empress Journee  

 Friday, September 19, 2008 Aight For the people who don’t know me… Please allow me to introduce myself…. My name is Empress Journee’. Holding it down for Charlotte NC. Started off as a mix do when I was 15. But as I grew I changed. Went to A&T became a radio personality. Where I met some of the most important people in my life to date.. (trust you will hear from them soon enough). But I ended up changing my major from Communications Radio Broadcast and made it my minor. Ended up graduated with a degree Liberal Arts. (African American Studies. As well as African American Lit. {yeah I’m deep and burnt out on school so no I’m not going to grad. I was a double major with a minor. That is past enough.} moving on…) It was there I discovered so much about myself. Mainly that me and main stream radio would never co-exist. Besides the politics involved. Journee’ has the mouth of a grown as s man and I really hate being censored. Or listening to music that is… So I gave up my dreams of being a personality full time, and became a promoter. Which I do a fuc king hell of a job at. (S.E.A. 2008 Award winner for Promoter of the year….) Must be doing something right. But I still had a lot to say that just wasn’t reaching the ears of the masses. So when this opportunity presented its self. I had to jump on it… So now you know…
