Joyce Parkinson is a domestic violence advocate and survivor. A facilitator, public speaker and presenter, Joyce is nationally credentialed as a certified domestic violence advocate. She uses her time and talents to routinely host events designed to educate, inspire and inform communities about the importance of establishing self worth & tangible self sufficiency. She has received a number of awards, proclamations & acknowledgments for her efforts as an entrepreneur and advocate. She works with a number of individuals, businesses and organizations locally, while maintaining national relationships, including Mr. Anthony Porter, international lecturer, author and co-founder of the nationally recognized organization, A Call To Men, whose work involves the behaviors of men and domestic violence. She is an active member of VOICES of Memphis and Shelby County, a speaker’s bureau for survivors and abuse agency partners.
Kevin Phipps is a Domestic Violence advocate and a survivor!! He's married, a supervisor with Shelby County's Pretrial Services, member of the Unique Steppers of Memphis and a board member of WIANL. He is also an active member of VOICES of Memphis and Shelby County and has an incredible story to tell!!!
