This broadcast segment of "EMPOWERING MEN" examines the mental, emotional, and spiritual state of men in Africa.  The dialogue will focus primarily on issues impacting men residing in East Africa: Kenya, Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda, Southern Sudan, and Tanzania.

We will discuss the various programs and initiatives underway in East Africa to empower men to reach their fullest potential and become change agents in their respective societies.

Many African economies are advancing in the areas of sustainable development, technological innovation, literacy, and global competitiveness.  It is important for African men to be fully empowered in order for Africa's economic growth, state effectiveness, regional stability, and global influence to continue.

Our distinguished guests for this important broadcast are Dr. Stanley Kamau, Executive Director, African Operations and Mr. Edward Ondondo, Executive Director, International Affairs, for the Men's Empowerment Network.  Both gentlemen are from Kenya.

The host of "EMPOWERING MEN" is Minister Thomas Ryer, Executive Director / Public Advocacy for the Men's Empowerment Network.  Minister Thomas Ryer is a nationally sought after speaker on topics addressing men's development and their impactful role in society. .
