This week, we have two guests: Mr. Chuck Manto, of Instant Access Networks, and B.G. Kenneth Chrosnaik (retired), of the U.S. Army War College.
Charles L. Manto is CEO of Instant Access Networks, where he developed a critical infrastructure EMP rating system, EMP-protected rooms to protect critical infrastructure such as communications and power systems, and won R&D grants for the development of EMP-safe microgrids and renewable energy. He led operations for a broadband CLEC, a computer industry start-up and was the lead consultant for broadband deployment strategies for 12 Maryland counties. He won five patents and has others pending. Chuck will be joining us to talk about the EMP Special Interest Group (SIG) that he coordinates for Infragard.
Brigadier General Kenneth Chrosniak (retired), is a professor at the U.S. Army War College, and was a primary organizer of the “First Responder Community Planning for a Catastrophic Electric Grid Failure Event” table-top exercise held in October, 2010. Ken will be coming on the show to talk about current events and the projects he’s working on in conjunction with EMPact America.
