Award-winning author Kenneth R. Timmerman is president and CEO of the Foundation for Democracy in Iran.  He has spent his career investigating the dark side of national security.  His many books include St. Peter’s Bones (2011 Christian Small Publisher Book of the Year Award Winner); Shadow Warriors: The Untold Story of Traitors, Saboteurs, and the Party of Surrender; Preachers of Hate: Islam and the War on America; Honor Killing; and Countdown to Crisis: The Coming Nuclear Showdown with Iran. His work as an investigative reporter has been showcased by a wide variety of media outlets, to include The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Times, Newsmax, FrontPage Magazine, The New York Post, National Review Online, and Human Events.  He has presented his findings before Congress in public testimony and in Special Reports commissioned by various committees.

Over the past 3 decades, Mr. Timmerman has revealed how failed U.S. policies have helped create new threats to our nation from Russia, China, and Iran.  He has interviewed dissidents behind the Iron Curtain, covered numerous Middle East wars and false-hope peace treaties, interviewed suicide bombers, debriefed defectors from Iranian intelligence organizations, and covered the plight of Christians persecuted for their faith.

For Mr. Timmerman’s work in exposing the Islamic Republic of Iran’s nuclear weapons program, he was nominated for the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize by former Swedish Deputy Prime Minister Per Ahlmark; and in February 2011, he was awarded the Reed Irvine Accuracy in Media prize for Investigative Journalism.
