Reclaiming Our Inner Sense of Timing: The Seduction of Yes~

Ever notice how good things look from a distance but then up close they shape shift into obligation rather than opportunity? You know the story – that thing you said yes to weeks ago sounded so fun or so easy to do way back then, yet when the time approaches you’re asking yourself “what was I thinking?” Saying yes to one thing always means saying no to something else. On this show we’ll burst the seductive bubble of believing we can say “yes” to every pretty thing that passes by and still hold onto our inner sense of timing.

  • Original Air Date:

Reclaiming our Inner Sense of Timing: Debunking 24/7 and other soul sucking lies!

Next stop in the inner timing express we challenge 21st century industrialized civilization and the hilarious notions that it requires. Why even bother getting to know our inner cycles if they never get to be realized? On this show we bring the conflict of time out into the light, talking about it straight up, compassionately dashing the punishing self-talk that enforces compliance of thoroughly unsustainable cultural practices. Past the whirlwind of ceaseless productivity, we’ll find our way back to innate creative cycles, like those of nature.

  • Original Air Date:

Reclaiming our Inner Sense of Timing: "Who gets to be Happy Here?"

As we continue our journey back to our own personal awareness of timing, feeling our way into our own satisfying and sustainable rhythms, we quickly jump into the treacherous waters of people pleasing. On this show we will irreverently play with the polarity of giving to others and taking for ourselves. How do we hold our own personal needs and the needs of the whole – whatever that is for each of us – at the same time? How do we want to be when the needs of the whole completely trump our own? How are happiness, people pleasing and inner sense of timing connected?

Reclaiming our Inner Sense of Timing: Promises Made, Promises Broken

One of the polarities, or push-pulls, we experience in our lives is the sense of scarcity in the midst of abundance. Nowhere is that more evident than it is in our relationship with time. Most of us have so very many demands on our time that we have completely lost any sense of our inner timing, or of knowing when to say yes and no to the countless possibilities before us. For the month of March we will be pulling apart some of the illusions that keep us always running late – within ourselves as well as out in the world. Join us on our maiden voyage – Monday, March 2nd - where we will discover the levels of promises we make around time, what happens when we attempt to force timing to our will, and how we can begin the journey back to our personal awareness of timing, to feel our way into our own satisfying and sustainable rhythm.
