Ellen Gee welcomes singer/songwriter Koku Gonza to The Evolution of Perspective. The daughter of a Tanzanian folk singer and an American southern songstress, Koku’s neo-soul/world sound had her sharing the stage with great artists such as Roy Ayers, the Millennium Bluesman, Anthony David, and soul singer Yahzarah. Koku’s eclectic music style is sure to capture various audiences. Gonza counts her musical influences ranging from the likes of Sergio Mendez, Flora Purim, Brenda Fassie, Viktor Duplaix, Corrine Bailey Rae, Esperanza Spalding, Sadé, Fela Kuti, The Gorillaz, Janelle Monáe, Roy Ayers, Herbie Hancock and indie artists such as Blah Blah Blah, William Kurk & HEAVY. Listen to her interview at 8 pm EST.

Then stay with Ellen Gee as she welcomes HiMay10Nence, Andrea Chrisjohn, and Malika Free back to The EoP to finish up their discussion for Ladies' Night Part II at 8:30 pm EST. The ladies closed out the 2011 season with an EPIC discussion that included honest dialogue, reflection, and a transparent look into the lives of women who possess an extraordinary amount of Woman Wisdom.

This will be another one for the record books!
