Elite Proxy - Is Your Proxy Password Safe?

Got a Elite Proxy and wondering if a username and password is really necessary?. While having to enter a username and password can be time consuming when trying to access your proxy, it is vitality important. Proxy servers are machines out in the open on the internet and therefore can potentially be accessed by anyone. Even though there are millions of other IP addresses out on the internet this does not make it impossible to find your proxy server IP. You may be surprised to know that using software and other tools a person can very easily and very quickly scan IP ranges looking for open ports, proxies or other back doors that they can use to their advantage. For this reason it is strongly suggested that you ALWAYS use a login and password on your proxy server. If someone else gains access to your proxy server then you can be held liable for any damages that they do through the use of it. Instead of not using a password, look to use software the can save usernames and passwords for the IP ports on your proxy to save time. These software programs still allow you to save time by not having to type passwords and agand again but allow you to keep the level of safety that your Elite Proxy requires.
