Several problems are associated with the stories we tell ourselves about ourselves manifesting themselves n terms of identity crisis, poor self esteem and lack of purpose that are further complicated by the perception of overwhelming adversity in our day-to-day lives. When adversity comes up, do you know how you will respond? Do you recognize your trigger points or hot buttons? Are you prepared to navigate with yourself and others? What role does music, art, tarot, runes, meditations, journaling, or others play? Do you know who you are? How do we reconcile what people have told us about ourselves versus what we know to be true? Are you ready to remove the mask and get rid of the pain? Join us this week as our guest Celeste Morgan, MSW, LGSW shares her journey and how introspection and play have been critical to her walk. She has learned how to use introspection play to turn adversity into life lessons and extend moments of joy by focusing on strength, faith and by having a radical positive outlook. A foundational premise in Celeste’s work is finding the divinity in everyone and every situation. Introspection Play afforded Celeste tools to continue being her authentic self and then she shared those tools with clients, friends, and her immediate circle. FEATURED GUEST; Celeste Morgan, MSW, LGSW attended the University of Maryland for graduate studies and received her B.A. in Human Relations from Trinity University. Celeste worked as a volunteer and then Health Program Manager at a local youth agency called SMYAL – Sexual Minority Youth Assistance League. She also volunteered at the Washington Free Clinic as a HIV Prevention Counselor and has also interned at Thurgood Marshall Academy located in Washington, D.C. and at the D.C. Rape Crisis Center as an Adult Counselor. Finally, Celeste enjoys being of service and finding creative ways to help people look for their strengths. She believes the key to life is finding your true bliss and following it passionately.
