Bev Walton-Porter is a professional author, freelance writer, and writing instructor who has published hundreds of stories on a wide variety of subjects. First published in 1982, she became a full-time scribe in May 1997. She's also written several books: "Sun Signs for Writers," "Mending Fences," "Hidden Fire," "Secrets of the Professional Freelancer," "Shadows of the Soul" and "The Complete Writer: A Guide to Tapping Your Full Potential," co-authored with three other writers. She writes women’s fiction under the pen name of Star Ferris. Bev is an author, publisher, managing editor, and writing instructor. She has edited and published the award-winning e-zine for writers, Scribe & Quill, for the past 15 years. She launched a selective eBook publishing house, )0( Triple Crow Publishing )0( on April 13, 2012. Bev is a member of The Authors Guild and the Editorial Freelancers Association.
