I was having a discussion with a few friends, and we began discussing how it seems that many believers made a trade-off at the time of conversion. Many gladly accept salvation, and thank God for it! However, it seems like many of the events that are considered the normal progression of life just came to a screeching halt. Simple things such as purchasing a new car, buying a home, even getting married...all became things found within the timing of God after much prayer. For many, only 2 out of the 3 of the events listed were ever realized, while our unsaved peers got the goods and ran. It would seem that the trade-off was ambition, but is there such a thing as "Christian ambition" or ambition within a faith walk? Share your thoughts.
