Immigration. What a hot topic.

As I was thinking about the whole idea of immigration I began to wonder... Aren't we all immigrants? Exactly when did this immigration problem begin?

Immigrate... migrate... isn't that what humanity has always done? Moved around to where the water was more abundant. Cross over the mountain range into a fertile valley. As I think about human kind that is what we have always done. I suppose that is one of the great unifiers of peoples of the world. What a nice thought.

But alas... it is not a world of my making but a creation of some other 'thing' out there.

Immigrate as defined by Websters is- To come into a new country, region, or environment, esp. in order to settle there. 

Hmm... were the Mexicans the first to immigrate to this country? No, I know, of course not. Were George Washington and his buddies the first to immigrate from Europe. No, of course not. Was Columbus and his crew the first immigrants to this land? Nope. Europeans came to this land as immigrants as early as 28000 BC.

As you can see... immigrants have been 'coming' to this land for a very long time. I haven't even started refering to those coming from South America onto this land.

Is it really fair to 'call out' Mexicans as being illegal immigrants? What about all of the Canadians that must have over stayed their VISA's. How about Irish folks or people from England? I never hear about them. All you ever really hear about are the Mexicans.

If we worked with the Mexican government to assist them in solving their problems the people wouldn't be so quick to leave. Besides in 1821 the western half of the United States was part of Mexico.

It wasn't until our idea of Manifest Destiny came about that we decided that the land belonged to the US. So we went to war.

Hmm... so much for immigration.

But that works into the whole Illuminati plan. Keep others down so they are not able to pick themselves up. We have corrupt government officials doing dirty deals with corrupt officials of other nations.

We have companies that hire these illegal immigrants at unfair wages, knowing that they won't get reported because the worker is afraid of being reported to immigration.

The government wants you to focus on the companies instead of the real issue. We should focus on them and how unfair they are.

That is a problem but the real problem is the way we look at our fellow man. That is the real problem.

Do you really believe that these people who we term 'illeagal alien' really want to leave their families? These are Mexican refugees. Forced out of their own country because our country offers more then theirs.

Now, we are told to be afraid of these people because they are using our services and costing us more money. They are costing us more money then this stupid war? They are costing us more money then our stupid War On Drugs? They are costing us more money then the oil compaines?

They purchase their products from WalMart. Just like I do. They pay taxes at the register. They buy gas..just like I do. They may have a fake Social Security Card but they pay taxes to the government just like I do. They may drink..just like I do...but they purchase their beer at the same store as I do. They pay the liquor tax just like I do. They go to the same hardware store as I do, etc.

That argument that they are a burden , in my opinion, is not true. They live in rented homes just like Americans do. The property owner pays taxes that go to the school district the same as she would if it was an American living in the property.

In my opinion, this is just a way for the government to create fear. They have to demonize someone in order to put their facist way of thinking into being. They demonize a certain group. The government begins to create laws to restrict the ability of the group to survive. That is not correct.

Laws and ordinances begin to go into effect that say it is against the law to rent or hire the certain group. Today it is 'illeagal aliens' or Mexicans.

Not much has changed. The fear is not real. Fear of terrorist coming across the border. As soon as people begin to speak loudly about what they know to be true about 9/11; we will wake up to the fact that there are no terrorists coming over the border. 

What is the border fence about? They say to keep out 'illegals' and 'terrorists'. Why is it okay for people to have to give up their property to have a fence divide up their land and sometimes their lively hood.

There is a Texas family that has to go through a check point to get to the rest of their property. If that isn't bad enough... they own a cattle ranch and the fence blocks their cattle from the river that the grazing cattle drink from. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/10/27/AR2006102700844.html

Then I question what the fence is really for. Is it to keep others out... or to keep us in?

Could it be that this is all part of the plan to desensitize us to being caged in. Our every move monitored. All this for our safety? Or is it the sick paranoid fear of a sick and perverted government?

Don't forget about the internment camps for the Japanese. Many of the Japanese familys that were locked up had sons fighting in WWII against Japan. How messed up is that?  http://www.pbs.org/childofcamp/history/index.html

Think long and hard before we begin to fear another race of people. It is just a matter of time before you end up part of the group.
