The Slow Sonic Hour with Diane Green
David Griffiths is Slow Sonic and describes his music as "Atmospheric, alternative rock with dark overtones." Slow Sonic tells us about his journey from the mid '80's 'cutting his teeth and losing several brain cells performing at loads of gigs and events, through the '90's and his band Bitter Sound Foundation with his Electronica and Remix tracks era being featured on XFM radio and MTV Mash.
David's thoughts returned to making music again that could be performed live. He then set about writing and recording an album's worth of material alone, with a view to then taking said 'album' around and getting together some like-minded individuals who would help play it live.
This bring him to the now - the album, "Songs From The Black Dog" is nearly finished, and guest appearances notwithstanding should be hitting the digital shelves early next year. If there is a central theme to the album, it is from the viewpoint of being on the outside of a world that you don't really relate to, and the feelings of isolation and low that can result of this (hence the 'black dog').
It's good to talk.
