July’s Learning Well features Victor Chan, Founding Director of the Dalai Lama Center for Peace and Education and the co-author (with the Dalai Lama) of “The Wisdom of Compassion: Stories of Remarkable Encounters and Timeless Insights,” released in 2012.
Host Maureen Pelton will dive into Victor’sinteresting and round-about way of meeting the Dalai Lama and his fascinating adventures, learnings, teachings and experiences that he has accumulated through his extensive travels and workings.
Chan is the only non-Tibetan to reach all three of the most important Tibetan pilgrimages, Mount Kailash, Lapchi and Tsari, which led to his 1,100 page Tibet handbook: “A Pilgrimage Guide" and has been called “a worthy successor of the great explorers of the 19th Century” for this comprehensive and historical guide. Learning Well – is sponsored by the Integrative Health Education Center of Normandale Community College. Thank you for your interest in the Edge!
