Fear Not!!

IVORY: What would you do in your life if you did not have fear? Would you change jobs? Would you talk to someone you are afraid to talk to? Would you speak your truth, kindly, if you didn’t fear repercussions? Fear often keeps us from really living our life to the fullest, doing what we want to do. I’m going to break away from my W. Dyer quotes this week and go with one from Neale Donald Walsch, “ FEAR is an acronym in the English language for ‘False Evidence Appearing Real’”. My words to you, try living your life without fear, the ride is so much more enjoyable! EBONY: The Bible states in 2 Timothy 1:7: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." We are not to live life in fear of anything, especially if we are believers. To me, to fear is to lack faith. Many are not aware that there is a good fear and a bad fear. Wow, I could hear WHAT...?!?! The good fear is beneficial and that is showing reverence for God. The bad fear is what God does not want us to possess, but rather overcome. God encourages us that he is always with us no matter what; there is no need to fear. That reminds me of the old superhero cartoon saying: "Never fear, Underdog is here." I try, though it is gets very difficult at times, to live my life knowing that I need not "EVER FEAR, God is here." Every day we have constant reminders not to fear. God wants us to know. Even on our money are the words "In God We Trust." Psalm 56:11 states, "In God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can man to do to me?" Fear NOT...!!!! Word of Day: Paucity
