No...Wait...Be Patient

IVORY: I’m all about wanting something to happen and wanting it to happen now, so patience is a great test that I am working on in my life. My mind pretty much races about 10 minutes, 10 weeks or even 10 months ahead of time. I like W. Dyer’s quote on patience: “Infinite patience brings immediate results”. I probably like it so much because of the word immediate! I’m looking forward to Ebony’s biblical insight on patience…I’m sure Jesus has something amazing to say to encourage patience in all of us. EBONY:Well, you are absolutely right. Jesus does. The Bible speaks of patience in James 1:3-4 as, "the trying of our faith worketh patience." Lord knows we go through many troubles that exercise our faith. Don't pray for it unless your ready for more issues. Also in the Bible, we learn that love is patient; we show wisdom in patience. Many don't know but it is not a natural quality or instinct, but divine. Patience is definitely a virtue to possess. Situations only last longer when we don't practice patience. Because you will not wait will not make it hurry. Remember, it is what it is regardless, but timing is everything. There is a definite purpose for our lives and we must live knowing that God has the bigger perspective. So, let patience become a part of you. It's a life requirement so make it a life commitment.
