With a slew of acting, rapping, composing and producing credits under her belt, you'd think that Eve would be more confident in her talents. But as she tells Conversations of a Spirited Actor host Tracey Moore, landing the part of Terri Jones in the now-classic flick Barbershop was anything but a cake walk. "I completely fell in love with Terri. I know this girl. I am this girl," says the diva—who snagged a Grammy for her 2002 duet with Gwen Stefani, Let Me Blow Ya Mind. "I was like, if I don't get this, I'm definitely gonna show up for every casting and try to kill everybody before they walk in the room because I need this role."
